Theseus "Theo" Burns is a main character in the first season of the Netflix original series, First Kill. He is portrayed by Phillip Mullings Jr..

He was unknowingly turned into a vampire by Juliette after being fatally wounded by his brother, Apollo.

Background

Theo was born to Jack and another hunter, who raised him in the life to be a fighter. One day, Theo and his mother were walking through a park when they were suddenly attacked by a vampire, who bit his mother and drained her of blood. Theo was scratched by the vampire and paralyzed. He watched his mother die and her bite marks vanish. He knew the monster was a Legacy vampire and underwent a severing ceremony to ensure there was no longer a psychic link between him and the monster. When he was seven, Jack met Talia and they later married, having a son of together, Apollo.

Trivia

• The shirt Theo wears after waking up from his nightmares reads "Denali National Park", a reference to the family having lived in Alaska (as mentioned by Calliope when she visits Juliette's room).
• Theseus is named after his great grandfather and great-great grandfather.
