Margot Fairmont (née Atwood) is a main character in the first season of the Netflix original series, First Kill. She is portrayed by Elizabeth Mitchell.
Margot is a Legacy vampire, matriarch of the Fairmont family, and Juliette's mother. As supportive as she is of Juliette, she's a stickler for vampire rituals and tradition, even if Juliette doesn't want to partake in them.

Margot is the eldest daughter of Davina Atwood, and as such, was expected to perform certain duties as a prestigious Legacy vampire. She was betrothed to Henry Davenport, a union that would have aligned two of the strongest bloodlines, finally ending the Davenports gripes over not being Keepers of the Emerald Malkia. Margot was already in love with a human man and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She called off her engagement by turning the man, Sebastian Fairmont, into a vampire. The act was considered one of disrespect and blasphemy, which was only heightened when Margot married Sebastian and took his surname. She promised him a thousand years together, minimum. They relocated to Savannah where Sebastian became a District Attorney and made it safe for his family to stay there. He and Margot started a family, first with the tenacious twins Elinor and Oliver, then their youngest and most moral, Juliette.
Despite bring shame to her family and community, Margot remained next in line to become Keeper of the Emerald Malkia, and ensured that her family followed through with their sacred traditions.

Margot is a beautiful woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, an long diamond-shaped face, small blue eyes, a pointed nose, and high prominent cheekbones. She is tall and thin with sunken cheeks. She exudes wealth and class, wearing exclusively designer clothing. She pairs her high-end attire with pearl necklaces, pearl earrings, gold rings, and large pieces of jeweled necklaces.
Personality[]
Margot rarely shows empathy or 'soft' feelings, and when we do see it it's either in very specific events with Juliette or her husband, Sebastian. She is often physical with her husband, holding his hand or touching his arm, and usually stays close to him when they're in the same room.
She keeps up a tough facade, being outwardly friendly yet serious and generally "upper class". She looks down on humans due to their 'weak' feelings and sometimes pokes at her daughter Juliette for inheriting her father's emotional side.
