Throughout the Series[]

Season 1[]

When the Burns' family move in, we see JoJo along with a few other women doing protection rituals on their house. JoJo gives Talia the letters that contain their cover stories.[1]

When the Burns' return from the fight at the Fairmont Estate [2], Talia angrily gives a spear to JoJo saying that they didn't work and that she doesn't know where her daughter is. JoJo says that the Guild is tracking Clayton Cook and gives her word that she'll see to it that Calliope comes home. Talia implies her word isn't worth anything, saying "Is that the same words you gave Mike and Sarah?", who died in the attack. Tess interrupts them, asking about Cal, and JoJo responds that she'll be home shortly. When Tess leaves, Talia says Tess should stay with them, but JoJo says the Guild has protocol. When Talia objects, JoJo reminds her of what the Guild is and stands for.

The Burns' family distance themselves from the Guild, but JoJo comes back when the body of Clayton Cook is found. She brings two men with buckets of silver, claiming that they know it was a vampire who killed him and that is was "Cal's vampire", meaning Juliette. Jack doesn't let them in at first, objecting to what she says. JoJo says the legacies follow Calliope. After some convincing and passive threats, Jack lets them into the house. After the two men walk inside, Jack stops JoJo and calls her out for lying about knowing that it was Juliette who killed Cook, since she used the same method of detecting lies they both trained at the same Guild. JoJo enters Calliopes room, asking Talia where Cal is, to which she replies "Why don't you tell me, JoJo?", keeping her promise to not tell on Juliette.

When JoJo gets to the basement, she catches Paolo Villanueva with Theo and Apollo hacking the Guild Library. She gives them five minutes to get the hacker out of the house before reporting them.[3] When JoJo exits, Talia sends a text to Jack to warn him that she's coming, also implying that Jack and JoJo had a fling before (which he objects to).
