“ | The Davenports are hungry, Sebastian. For centuries, they have wanted to displace us and claim the Emerald Malkia. That damn hunter raid gave them the opportunity that they were looking for. | ” |

The Davenport Family is a family of legacy vampires, dating back centuries. They live in Toronto, Canada where they have free-range humans[1].
In the series[]
The Davenports were at Juliette's failed concecration ceremony after her (fake) first kill (though they're never shown on screen). Loretta says they needed to hire security to escort them out of town.[1]
The Davenports are eager to take over the role as Keepers of the Malkia. In the episode First Love[1], they try to negotiate a marriage between Tom and Elinor. The Davenports want proof that the Atwoods are still the Keepers, which they refuse to give. After some threats, they settle the issue, moving on to the next one; how many children they'll have. This is where Elinor changes her mind about the engagement and breaks it off.
Family Members[]
Loretta Davenport[]
Loretta is the mother of Henry and Tom and the matriarch of the family. She isn't afraid to question the current status quo, Davina, and pushes for her family to gain more power.
Henry Davenport[]
Henry is the older brother, supposedly 300 years old[1]. He was previously a fiance of Margot Fairmont, but she left him at the altar for Sebastian Fairmont. He finds it difficult to "act human" and tells Margot that if he was another kind of monster, he would've killed Sebastian. Elinor thinks he's funny to be around.[1]
Tom Davenport[]
Tom went to Harvard, an undergrad in business school. After Harvard, he travelled to Argentina.[1] Tom was arranged to be married to Elinor Fairmont as a favour to Davina for saving her father. He isn't as good at 'playing the game of power' as the rest of the family, reacting outwardly when questioned.
