Ashley Stanton , played by actress Sarah Stipe, was a recurring character in the first season of the Netflix original series First Kill. She was portrayed by Sarah Stipe.
Ashley was a party girl who was murdered at a party and turned into a Zombie. She was later decapitated with an axe by Calliope Burns.

Ashley is an only child. She enjoyed skiing and theater. Her parents are philanthropists Philipa and George Stanton.[1]
Throughout the Series[]
Season 1[]
In First Kiss, Ashley is in English class together with Juliette, Calliope and Beau. She hands out pamphlets, inviting everyone to the party as Noah's house.
When Juliette runs to the bathroom after being burnt by a silver bracelet, Ashley greets her as she is just about to exit.
At the party, a drunk Ashley runs up and greets Ben and Juliette when they arrive. She boops Ben on the nose before letting him know where Noah is. She then proclaims her love for them before strutting off.
In the beginning of the next episode, Ben trips over Ashley's dead body.
Aftermath of her death[]
Ashley is the convenient cover story for Juliette when her family thinks she completed her first kill instead of being attacked by a hunter.
Elinor uses her powers on the morgue attendant to make him misremember what happened to Ashley when he says he thinks monsters are back. [2] Elinor watches several news segments talking about Ashley's death.
Later her wake, her parent hold a tearful speech about her. Also at the wake, Calliope confronts Juliette at the rooftops which gets them both in trouble, and Talia figures out that the Fairmont family are the legacy vampires.
Her death is also the start of the M.A.A.Ms group suspicion that monsters are back in town.
Grieving her death is a cover-up for Ben, Jules and Cal when they've just buried Clayton Cook. While at her impromptu memorial, the girls avoid being pawns to trade for Oliver, which in turn leads them to be allowed to stay in school, and later that they meet Ashley again as a zombie.
Zombie Ashley[]
Ashley is in the school when the girls break in and sleep there[3], she was startled by them. The following day, a confused zombie Ashley attacks and kills Noah when he wanders the halls alone after "breaking up" with Ben.
Juliette and Calliope chase her to the cafeteria, where they start to fight. When Jules is about to foot stomp Ashley, she starts to talk and asks if she remembers her. A confused Ashley says she was scared when they came in because she was practicing her lines for Lady Montague. She asks Jules to help her find her home because she keeps getting lost, or call her phone that she can't find. Calliope tries to warn Jules that Ashley is not herself anymore, and Ashley uses the distraction to grab and choke Juliette. Cal attacks her and after a quick fight, Cal beheads her.
Calliope and Jules carry the dead zombie Ashley out to the woods, where she turns to ash. Oliver and Carmen find them. Oliver tells Juliette they killed her for Jules to eat and because they needed a human liver for an elixir.

Ashley was a fun-loving party girl who always wanted to have a good time. She was nicknamed "Smashley" by several of her peers.[1] She aimed to graduate Lancaster Academy, but was murdered before she could complete her schooling.[1]
Powers[]
After her transformation, Ashley possessed all the normal abilities of a Zombie.[3]
Trivia[]
- After turning into a zombie, Ashley murdered Noah Harrington.
